Nurses have been the lifeline of the healthcare system, and in the wake of the global health crisis, we courageously stepped up with faith, compassion, positivity, and resilience. Let’s celebrate the nursing profession together. On Nurses’ Night, nurses, their family members, and friends could play catch with the players, high-five players, be recognized for their hard work, and enjoy some performances & fireworks.
For more than 21 years, PNANJ Somerset County Subchapter has been serving nurses and residents of Somerset County. Our mission is to uphold and promote the positive image and welfare of Filipino American nurses, advance their professional excellence, provide innovative leadership, and contribute significant outcomes to healthcare and society in Somerset County and neighboring counties.
Here are some of PNANJ Somerset’s notable initiatives:

Assisted over 20 nurses experiencing adverse circumstances & celebrating special events via PNANJ Somerset’s Sunshine Funds from 30% of fundraising event profits

Provided multiple $1,000 scholarships and recognized over 50 nurses for excellence

Donated ~$16,000 helping over 50,000 vulnerable populations locally & globally

Volunteered over 2,500 community outreach hours via Indian Health Camp, Girls on the Run, Samaritan Homeless Interim Program (SHIP), Franklin Community Food Bank, Raritan Food Pantry, Zarephath Christian Church, Fiesta in America

Provided complimentary Mental Health First Aid Training Certificate ($3250 value) and other continuing education offerings for nurses and their family members
